A Little Joy to Carry With You

This original poem carries the faith, encouragement, and everyday noticing behind Scatter Joyfulness.

In every whisper of the wind, in every bird’s sweet song, find the Joy that’s scattered wide, where all hearts belong.

With every dawn let love arise, and touch the skies above, scattering joyfulness with grace, in every act of love.

Let nature’s splendor guide the way in every step you trod, embrace the warmth, share the light and spread the love of God.

For every day’s a canvas new, where joy can craft her part, in every way, with everyone, let love fill every heart.

So, send a card, a note, a smile, let kindness be your guide, and SCATTER JOYFULNESS around, with God’s love at your side.

These are a few quiet places I return to often.

These resources don’t replace opening my Bible. They are trusted places I return to for comparing Bible translations, studying biblical themes, and continuing to learn.

♰ The Bible App by YouVersion offers thousands of Bible versions, reading plans, and devotionals, with audio Bible options and community features to share and discuss with friends. I love being able to compare Bible translations, listen to Scripture, and follow reading plans.

♰ BibleProject,I especially appreciate BibleProject because it combines thoughtful biblical teaching with artistically visual storytelling that helps me see the larger picture of Scripture.

A Few Tunes Worth Sharing

"Good Day" by Forrest Frank

This song makes me smile. It is a cheerful reminder that every day is a gift and there is always something to be thankful for.

"Oh Happy Day" by The Edwin Hawkins Singers

This one carries a whole different kind of happy. It’s joyful, full of faith, and almost impossible not to move a bit when it starts playing.

Consider this clock a time-stamped nudge before another minute wanders off. There’s always time to Scatter Joyfulness.

Right on time, just like you

Joy

Joy Arnold is the founder, creator, and writer behind Scatter Joyfulness Greetings™, a collection of hand-finished micro art greeting card gifts created in limited editions of twelve.

Through her Studio Journal, What to Write message guides, Curious Phrases articles, and greeting card collection, she helps people find words, notice the stories behind familiar expressions, and greet one another well through birthdays, friendships, encouragement, faith-filled moments, and life’s many occasions.

Each 5 × 7 card offers three joyful uses: greet with your handwritten message on the back, fold the lower bookmark section underneath to display the complete self-standing greeting, then keep it as 5 × 5 frame-worthy art and a separate 2 × 5 tasseled bookmark.

Her work brings together thoughtfully prompted artwork, practical help for what to write in a card, curious word and phrase histories, and small acts of kindness intended to help people feel seen, valued, loved, and remembered.

Joy creates alongside Bunny, her long-haired dachshund and Chief Cuddle Officer, believing that a greeting card can often delight someone, begin a conversation, and Scatter Joyfulness.
